Destinations
Grava offers two main destinations, both of them offering complete and inclusive experiences.
JUJUY (north)
Jujuy is all about altitude, cardon cactuses, colourful rocks and strong indigenous culture. West, you will cross La Puna, 4000m above sea level, it presents endless seas of salt, which make it seem that time stands still. East, you will cross the Yungas, which is a luxariant and very green vallee. Cycling in Jujuy needs acclimatation in order to tackle the altitude and the strong sun as well as the endless climbs such as the Cuesta de Lipan or Abra de la Cruz. The andean culture will surpirse you by the richness its handicraft, the local food and music.
PATAGONIA (south)
In the south of Argentina, Patagonia is a unique place where wilderness and beauty mingle. Expect spaces to be huge, going from spiky skylines and crystal-clear lakes to endless and desertic steppe . Silence can be impressive and fulfilling. This huge region will offer you unique gravel bike experience, combining fast dirt roads (such as the iconic RN40), long climbs, impressive mountain passes and technical single tracks.
